To prepare the corn dog start the preparation of the batter. In a large bowl, pour the corn flour and the 00 flour and mix with salt and sugar.
Then pour the baking soda and begin to mix the ingredients together and add little by little the milk, which should be at room temperature.
Add an egg and continue to whip until the mixture is free of lumps and dense enough.
Pour the batter into a cylindrical container with high sides and keep it aside. Now take the sausage and cut them in half.
Skewer the uncut part of the sausage with the skewer. Repeat this for all the hot dogs. Then pass them in flour taking care to entirely cover the surface of the sausage and then dip them in the batter prepared previously.
Dip them one at a time in the corn oil, previously heated and brought to a temperature of 170 °.
Fry each piece for about 3-4 minutes until it is well browned. Place the corn dog on a piece of paper towel to remove excess oil, then serve while it is still hot.
