Start by boiling the water in a big pot for the fettuccine noodles and when the water is boiling place the noodles inside and let them boil.
In the meanwhile fry the shrimps in a pan using all the olive oil and when they are done, remove them and place them in a bowl, with the oil that you fried them in.
Remove the fettuccine noodles, when they are done and place them in a colander.
In a pot pour the fried shrimps and their oil and pour the tomato purée and the water, the salt and the pepper and mix well, let the sauce boil for about 6-7 minutes and when it is ready, remove the pot from the heat and place the pasta in the pot ans mix well, to distribute the sauce evenly.
Serve the pasta when it is still warm and optionally decorate the plate with a chive (as in the picture).
