Put the dried lima beans in a bowl with water and leave them for a day.
The next day strain them and put them in a pot with enough water to boil and leave them to boil for 1 hour, so that they can soften.
Then remove them from the pot and let them drain and place them in a bowl waiting.
Wash and cut the onions in thick pieces and pour them in a pot. Then pour in the same pot the carrots, the celery, the tomatoes in cubes, the olive oil, the sugar, the salt, the pepper and 1 liter of water.
Then leave the pot over medium heat, for the vegetables to boil for about 15 minutes.
Put some frying oil in a pan and fry the Greek sausages.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and in a deep oven dish pour the lima beans, the vegetables and pour over the sausages along with the oil in the pan and stir to mix all the ingredients together.
Place the oven dish in the oven and bake for about 1 hour until the sauce has become thick. During baking mix 2-3 times the food. Serve it warm and optionally with a piece of Feta cheese.
