  1. Start by boiling water for the spaghetti and when it is boiling pour in some salt and the spaghetti and let them boil.
  2. While the spaghetti is boiling , wash and slice the onion into small pieces, pour the olive oil in a pot and fry the onion for 2-3 minutes, then pour in the anchovies from their tin (do not use their oil as it will be very salty) and pour the tomato paste, the water, some salt and pepper, mix well and leave the sauce to boil.
  3. When the spaghetti is boiled put them on a colander and wait until the sauce is done, when it is done pour it in a big bowl and then pour the spaghetti on it and mix well. Serve your spaghetti with anchovies when it is warm and add some olives optionally to decorate the plate.
